• Tracing male and female line ancestry.  Tracing ancestry.

• In conjunction with its genealogical services, WARS is also pleased to offer a Y chromosome and mitochondrial DNA testing service.  The first is especially useful for determining if people of the same surname are related and the second for tracing the origins of your maternal ancestry.  A comparison of your own DNA with samples in databases located in the USA and UK is now possible and shortly will also be available for Europe.  For more details, see our DNA services.
